In the first 5 minutes of the film 'Enter the Void' the lights, patterns and colours of what I refer to as the 'trip' of the drug is what inspired me to make this image. The image is colourful with a pattern that is blurred together to create a sense of travel through a space that is not real, which is what I felt like when watching the movie.
The image is of a Hankie with an elaborate pattern that I shot with my digital camera using a small aperture and 3 second shutterspd while zooming from closest to farthest that my lens could go.
