Johanna The concept is interesting but I feel as though there is a bit of a disparity between the ring, the image made with clothing and the reference to Girl with a Pearl Earring. Perhaps it makes more sense in the context of a series in which you recreate master works out of mundane objects? Perhaps there needs to be more of these to make it work? I think at this point it needs some resolution.
