3 - Matin Pezeshgzad

A collage of two polaroids. One of a swimming pool, the other of an array of summer flowers. Thinking about complementary colors and the use of text and image for credit purposes. The ppening credits can sometimes be the most innovative part of a film. Enter the Void takes them to another level. I am drawn to the subtle use of colour; my work usually has white as a base and touches of desaturated pastels around it. I've also always been drawn to vintage prints and fabrics. When viewed small and from a distance, the collage looks like a piece of flowing fabric. Shifting the hue levels in Photoshop drastically changed the feeling or experience of the image. This is my affect.

  1. I really like this, I love the colours. It's pretty psychedelic.

nice idea to approach this from the perspective of film credits. it may be interesting to experiment more with contrasts between the image and text...creating dualities or opposing meanings. right now the text FEELS like the image, what about if it was in opposition to it?
