Seeing that the images part of After Color were simply black and white, with a collection of both abstract and representational pieces, I decided to include my work-in-progress titled "White Series." I have two colour photographs here, yet they barely contain any colour at all. Black and white are what link the two images, since the subject matter is unrelated from one photo to the next.

ReplyDeleteIt's not simply that the images were B&W but that they engaged with the idea of "post-colour" B&W photography in a sort of self aware and unique way. I'm not sure how your images relate to this concept....they are quite formal, traditional images. Similar to those made in B&W before the invention and influence of colour photography.
